QUILT SHOW COMMITTEE MEETING
There is NO COMMITTEE MEETING on July 14, 2011 - It is our annual picnic and Kathy Lloyd (aka The Fabric Lady) will be there at 4:30.  We will be too busy shopping for fabric to conduct our quilt committee meeting.  
Next committee meeting is on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at UCC, 5:30pm.  Just prior to our regularly scheduled guild meeting

GUILD MEETING
The next guild meeting is our annual picnic onThursday, July 14, 2011 at Boname Park, East River Rd. (Cty. Rte. 32) Oxford, 6:00pm.  Kathy Lloyd (aka The Fabric Lady) will be there at 4:30 for our shopping pleasure.  Dinner starts at 6:00 - bring a dish to pass.  Program:  Challenge quilts - "Do Not Touch" themed little quilts for the quilt show. 

JULY DEADLINE
Don't forget that the July guild meeting is the quilt registration form deadline.  Your quilts need not be completed by July, but your registration forms with accompanying photos must be turned in by then.

25TH ANNIVERSARY:
2011 is the 25th Anniversary of the Chenango Piecemakers Quilt Guild.  If anyone has any ideas as to how we should celebrate/commemorate this milestone, please contact Nancy.

Although we do not anticipate cancellations of our meetings or events, Mother Nature doesn't always heed our wishes.  In the event of a severe weather emergency, we will make the decision by 3:30 pm.  Please tune in to the Norwich or Sidney Radio Stations to confirm cancellations.

Rummage sale

The following items are being sold or given away free to a good home.  If you are interested contact the member directly.

FREE:  Betty Sue has a shoebox full of neckties that someone donated to her.  There are about 35 clean ties that are neatly folded and waiting for a good home.  

FREE:  Betty Sue also has a box of VHS tapes on lap quilting.  There are 20 tapes called "At Home with Georgia" 1990 by Georgia Bonesteel.

Attention Guild Members!   The church has asked us not to park in the lot directly behind UCC unless handicapped, unloading, or are a church member.  THANK YOU!
